THE PERFECT PLACE<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t[vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_color_scheme=”dark” text_larger=”no” woodmart_inline=”no”]Filipe Palho\u00e7a Vinhos is located in Palmela, more specifically in the Poceir\u00e3o area, right in the heart of the wine-growing region of the Set\u00fabal Peninsula. In total, we currently have 112 hectares of vineyards divided into 11 properties located in Poceir\u00e3o, Fernando P\u00f3 and Marateca.<\/p>\n

The soils are of sandy origin and we have the following varieties planted:
\n\u2022 Reds<\/strong> – Castel\u00e3o, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet

QUINTA DA INVEJOSA<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t[vc_column_text css=”” woodmart_color_scheme=”dark” text_larger=”no” woodmart_inline=”no”]Quinta da Invejosa is the most important property and where our winemaking center is located. It’s located on the Palmela sand plain, between Poceir\u00e3o and Marateca, and enjoys a perfect microclimate for vineyards: the intense sun favors the perfect ripening of the grapes, but is tempered by the Tagus and Sado rivers basins that give them freshness.<\/p>\n

As a curious fact, the name Quinta da Invejosa (Estate of the Envious) doesn’t arise by chance. For years, the estate was forgotten, but when Filipe Palho\u00e7a’s father-in-law saw its potential, soon several interested in buying it appeared.
