The 2019 edition of the Les Citadelles du Vin competition, held annually in France, has awarded two wines of Monte da Capela with Gold medals.
The medal winners were the Monte da Capela Premium Antão Vaz & Arinto and the new Monte da Capela Grande Reserva White 18 Years.
The north-american magazine Wine Enthusiast, one of the most important publications worldwide, gave 92 points to Monte da Capela Reserve Red 2013.
In the opinion of Roger Voss, critic responsible for the Portuguese wines tasting, it’s a wine «attractively mature» and also considering it «full, concentrated and ready to drink».
The Winter Edition of Berliner Wein Trophy 2019 recognized the quality of Memo Reserve Red 2016 with the attribution of a Gold medal.
7,000 wines from 41 countries entered the contest and Portugal won 112 medals.

To also point out that Monte da Capela 18 Years Grand Reserve White, which isn’t yet in commercialization, conquered a Silver Medal.
The prestigious International Wine Challenge competition awarded two wines from Monte da Capela.
A Bronze Medal was collected by Monte da Capela Premium White and a Commended seal was awarded to Monte da Capela Premium Touriga Nacional.

Monte da Capela – Sociedade Agrícola e Comercial, Lda had approved an application for the European Union funding programs dedicated to Investments in the Transformation and Commercialization of Agricultural Products.
This is a project that aims to increase the ageing capacity and consequently increasing the sales of premium wines whose approved value is around € 264,000.
This project is co-financed by the programs Portugal 2020, PDR 2020 and FEDER.
Monte da Capela Premium Touriga Nacional 2016 won a Silver Medal in the 2018 edition of Bacchus International Wine Competition, which took place in Madrid.
Bacchus has the official recognition of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).
Monte da Capela won two medals in the February 2018 edition of the prestigious competition Berliner Wein Trophy.
The awarded wines were Herdade da Capela Reserve Red 2013 which collected Gold Medal and Monte da Capela Reserve Red 2013 obtained Silver Medal.
